On July 22, Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP sponsored “A Night at the Ball Park” at Skylands Stadium for the Sparta Little League. Sparta Little League players of all ages were able to attend the game free of charge and were treated to free ice cream during the game. The Sparta Little League players appeared in uniform and were on the field with the Sussex County Miners for the National Anthem and pregame festivities, which included a parade of classic cars courtesy of The Rodfather Gang Car Club of Sussex County. Over 340 Sparta Little League attendees watched the Miners defeat the Tri-City Valleycats by a score of 9-3.
